Hello folks! I'm a neophyte, but aspiring new welder. I am now retired, but spent virtually my entire career in the oil/gas valve manufacturing sector, working about half that time in Engineering and the other half in Sales. Although I'm quite familiar with most aspects of the manufacturing process, I have little to no hands-on experience with welding.

Now, in retirement, I'm enjoying learning how to weld. I started last year with a Lincoln 180 Dual, which I bought used. It has served me well, as I learn by trial and error how to MIG weld. Nonetheless, I am intrigued by the TIG process and now have a brand new Everlast 210EXT with which to play. I haven't had much time to work with it yet, but look forward to doing so. I appreciate this forum and will hopefully learn much from those of you who are capable welders.

Steve
