Default 255 EXT Help, something went wrong with pulse

Been doing a bunch of pulse welding with my brand new 255EXT on round aluminum tube to dial in the best settings. Everything was going great laying down some excellent beads. All of sudden it changed sound and seem like it wasn't giving me the same amps. Welding at 205 amps, took my helmet off and floored it and it will only give me about 75 to 100 amps on the hot side (welding amps) of the pulse??? Shut of the pulse and floored it and goes right up to the 205 amps I have it set at. Any thoughts? All of my work is on a positioner with stationary torch holder for consistency so everything is the same every time.

    Travis,
How long have you had it? The display on that unit IIRC averages the welding amps based off the pulse settings. But call 877 755 9353 ext 207 tomorrow. There is probalby a simple fix. I'd unplug it, take the cover off and reseat all the connectors. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes first.

    Mark,
I've only had it about 11 days. I gotta say man before this happened, I was VERY IMPRESSED with the 255. I am by no means and expert on Aluminum TIG, but it's night and day better than my Lincoln, (last time I will use that fowl language on here LOL). Having the ability to dial in both sides of the pulse and the time the pulse remains on the welding amp side is just simply amazing.

I agree with you that its probably nothing major wrong just something simple.
Thank you for giving me the number I will give a call, get it figured out and share my results.

    Thanks again,
    Travis
