waiting on dream machine
Hi. from s.e. tn. new to forum. ordered my life long dream machine on feb. 12. got email saying it is backordered till march 1st. today is march 1st. i really hope my dream dosnt turn to nightmare. weather the company dont keep there word. or the shippers trash it. herd a lot of bad things can go wrong. i waited a lot of years to be able to own such a welder, power mts221sti with tig package. i chose this company, and this particular machine, based on utube vids. hope to hear real soon, that its on the way.

No sweat, dude!
It'll undoubtedly arrive before too long and serve you well. And if not, Everlast will take care of it especially well within the first 30 days, and then also for the remainder of the 5-Year warrantee too, plus shipping. That's been my firsthand experience.
I too bought my Everlast unit after seeing Jody Collier demo a 210EXT nearly five years ago. And, of course, now there's other prominent welders with YouTube video that use Everlast units quite pervasively, like: Bob Moffatt, Kevin Caron, Mr. TIG, The Fabrication Series guy, etc.
Otherwise, that 221STi is a revolutionary unit. And I like how they added the extra Triangular waveform for thinner aluminum, which is usually a feature only found on more advanced TIG units. And it even has a 6010 Sick function too. Those are a couple of surprising, standout features, added onto an already revolutionary unit.
Otherwise, if you've never TIG welded, especially aluminum, it's kind of tricky at first. But there a lot of help given out freely at forums like this, and others.
So, savor this pre-arrival time as happy anxiety. Ha, ha, ha...
