    Default new power arc 160

when i looked at the photo online of the power arc 160 it looked small but not that small. when i opened the box today when it got here this thing is really small i like it. as i have still to pop in a new breaker and get a outlet for the plug that came with the welder. can't wait to fire it up and see how well it works

DO NOT USE THE PLUG THAT CAME WITH THE WELDER!!!!!

We have cautioned our customers here several times about the plug in the box. If it is in there, throw it away.

USE ONLY A TWISTLOCK 220 PLUG or a NEMA 6-50P

You can probably adapt one and it will work.

BUT there is no on/off switch so the wire will always be hot and you would need power to run the motor in the gun.

I IMIG would be a safer option and it is plug-n-play too.

    Just be careful.

Power ARC is NOT CC/CV. Its CC only.

The PowerI-MIG's are, except for the 250P. But not the PowerArc.
