This model features HF TIG start, no lift or live lift option.
I was wondering if I could press the trigger and scratch start the arc for TIG welding on my truck?

I read that the plasma torch doesn't use HF, so that should be fine.

Also, has anyone actually tried burning 6010? I realize it's only rated for brand specific 6011.

It won't work o 6010. You should not try to weld with scratch starting in HF mode.

I didn't want to scratch start in HF mode, I wanted to turn off HF mode and scratch start while TIG welding on my vehicle.
Can you do that?
