Default Another New guy from Florida

    Hey All ,
I have posted a few times here already but have not posted in this thread yet.
I am selling my Miller Diversion to get the money up for a 250EX or If I can get my asking price maybe the PP256 . But I am leaning towards the 250EX because of the 60% duty cycle verses the 35% on the PP256 Combo unit.
I would like to have a plasma I could really see where it would help me in the shop not having to pull out the bandsaw from behind everything but if I get the 250EX i would save up or sell something else for a seperate plasma cutter..
Just dropped in to say hey and have already spoke to a few people from everlast about the welders ( seem to be great guys here) and I am going that route as soon as I get the bucks together.

Welcome aboard Gary. I am about 1 1/2 hour south of you.

I "personally" use the EX or LX machines with the Power Plasma series cutters (right now working with the Power Plasma 60 and 250EX). The extra duty in the 250EX is nice.

All of our units are good, I just like my tools running at the same time. The Power Pro 256 will save some space and a some cash.

On a side note, if you're the fellow I talked to days ago about finding a good local welding shop over big names. I mentioned Lake Welding Supply (I was just out there and payed attention this time). Exit the turnpike at Southern, head East to the first main light (Chirney Rd). Take a left and a left into their parking lot. Great guys and the little truck stop on the right has some good food too.

If you are not the same guy from Port St. Lucie, sorry about the extra info.

    Hey Gary,

Yea, if you're down this way, give me a call, you can stop try some units if you have not bought one yet. The main office has been shipping units for days, so you are good to order.

Email support@everlastwelders.com your phone number and I can give you a call.

On the LWS (Lake Welding Supply so not to confuse others), give them a shot, they impressed me. Not just nice guys, good prices too. They are a lot further than Prax for me to drive, but like I told you I will never step in a PraxAir again.

    Mark,

Gary is working with Richard. Since I live close to him and he passes by this way, I was going to have him stop in and try some units.

But I think he goes down that way too, so might not be a bad idea Gary.
