    Default high frequency ground question

So I'm anticipating the arrival of my pp256 here on thursday hopefully and trying to sort out the electrical stuff. This is a brand new shop but it seems no one had the foresight to run any 240 lines for future use. So it looks like I will be running my power supply right from the box that supplies one of the lifts. not a huge deal, and a lot easier than running it from the panel at the other side of the shop. one question. How critical is the hf ground? does it really need to be tied to a seperate grounding rod outside? My lifts are secured with 24 inch j bolts into the ground. Would it be sufficient to ground off to a lift ? My suspension tech has his alignment machine only maybe 15 feet away from where that power source would be. These target machines are state of the art and use IR pulses and reflectors t the wheels of the vehicle to take measurements. The flash of stick welding has never produced any problems for him but i dont know about hf interference. Any tips or experience?

Only ground it to a direct ground to earth. It is highly recommended to prevent interference and damage to surrounding electronic items, including to the machine itself.
