255EXT and VERY thin aluminum?

I’m thinking about purchasing a 255EXT. A problem I have seen with other lower cost welders is that they start up hard/with a big burst of current that will blow holes in thinner material.

Will somebody with a 255EXT set it at 5A AC and light up on the bottom of a soda can and post the results? It SHOULD do this without blowing a hole in it, but I need confirmation and would greatly appreciate an answer.

Yes. There are plenty of videos with our machines doing this.
