255 ext issues

I've recently moved and it's been out of service for almost a year, now it acts like the pedal isn't working correctly, sometimes it will be fine then it will loose arc and then the pedal stops working all together. It will also make a squeeling noise like the gas valve isn't opening? I'm not sure what to do the hand switch also doesn't work on 2t and 4t. Amy ideas, ground is clean and I've used two different torches. Thanks Telly
