I purchased an Everlast CT416D about 5 years ago for use in my ranching operation, along with my hobby of building Hotrods. The machine has performed without a problem and is used on a regular basis for the Plasma cutting and TIG welding.
It cuts thru 1/4" plate just as neat as my previous high dollar blue machine and also is an excellent machine on the sheet metal panels on the farm equipment. It's great to know you can cut when you want and not worry about the oxygen supply.
The TIG portion is really great for welding on the sheet metal panels on tractors and equipment, which need constant repair. Vibration just eats them up. It worked great on the stainless steel exhaust system on my current project of Corvette engine/tranny/rearend in a '37 Chrysler with a Mustang II front end and air ride 4-point rear suspension.
I am looking to purchase a second Everlast machine in the near future, simply because of the performance of the current, on for another ranching location I have.
