3 way valve...

Thought I saw a 3 way valve somewhere around the forum, but darned if it can be found again.
One of the Techs said Everlast was going to carry them, but hasn't got around to it yet.
Prefer the "T" type with handle opposite the common port, but most I have found are pretty expensive...
Anyone have a good source for these type of valves?

Go to the web site http://www.mcmaster.com/# Then in the search box type the part number 4757K58 It will bring up the page that has 3/8 barbed 3 way diverter valve. This is how I plumbed my machine so I can swap between compressed and argon fast and easily.

I could be wrong, but I don't remember any comments to the fact we were going to have a 3 way valve...I know there are no plans now. We have investigated it, but it would be in combination of changing the fittings on the rear which, despite what it seems is a very complicated and expensive proposition...which will require changing more parts than just creating a fitting.

What type/size is the PP256 gas port (i.e. 1/4 female NPT?).

A somewhat less expensive but still fast and easy method to switch between argon and shop air is to simply put a "male" air hose quick-connect on the back of the machine. Then put matching "female" quick-connects on both your argon and air supply lines.
