    Bill,

The pedal is the same for the LX and EX. Can you call tech support and get Mark or I and we can answer any questions you might have. We do have a new low profile foot pedal.

D'oh! That's a surprise! It sure looks exactly like the connector on my 3 year old Everlast Super200P... but then again I haven't actually bought one to test fit like you did.

Question for everlast: Did everlast use the same 7 pin footpedal connector across all their machines, past and present?

The newer machines have a larger 7 pin connector. The pins are larger too.

Thanks for shedding light on this, Mike! I'll bet that connector I posted the link to is still probably the correct part for my "oldschool" Everlast machine then.

Edit: Ray, want to sell me your connectors? (I probably have more use for them than you do. )

Mike R., Could you show what the new low profile pedal looks like? Also would it work with my PP256 I acquired July 2010?

I got the connectors from that exact post 2 for 3, if you would like them i'll send them to you for the cost of the postage.
    Just PM me.

    Ray

P.S. I have a guy at Greybar trying to find the correct ones now. (I gave him a sample, but there are no part numbers on the original connectors) I'll share part numbers for the replacements if he is successful.

    Jake,

I was cleaning up today and found a smaller pin size 7 pin connector (Super series). PM me an address and I will send it to you if you need it.

For those of you that need information on connectors, like how to determine the size and type etc, check out this website

    http://www.weipuconnector.com/newpro8.htm

    The WS16 size in particular.

The way to size your connector is to measure the outside ring that screws on, and subtract about 5 -6mm for example a WS 16 will measure about 21-22 on the ring and so forth.

Any luck on this yet Ray?
Also, are the new Everlast low profile pedals coming in with the new welder shipment, from which I understand should be in soon? Any idea what the price will be?

Which base model for the pedal on their web site would it be? Didn't find a search box to put the model number Steve provided in...
    Thanks!

We've had the new low profile for some time now, at least since March.

I'll have to find the post, but Duncan has posted it here on the site already. You can either search through them or I'll try to find the post a little later, when I get caught up.

Is it not for sale ? The only low profile pedal that I find for sale by Everlast is the one I linked to at their ebay store. Why keep this new product secret ?
