seem to be having a problem with my foot pedal when i strick an arc it starts good but dont seem to have any control with foot pedal,no up and down on the heat,i hav another everlast pedal i will try today.

It may be the cog isn't engaging. It happens from time to time on this model. Check to make sure it isn't slipping by.
