Default PowerPro 205 Input Power requirements

    Hey, guys,
Had a great conversation with alex yesterday afternoon, and after discussing my needs, he advised me that the PP205 would be my best choice.
I understand how to wire it in (I currently use 220V machines in my Hardwood Floorsanding Buisness, and have to connect to all types of outlets on the fly)

my question is more what amp rating/style of plugs i should use.
links to, or model #'s would be a great help.
i will be using the welder/cutter in my garage, which does have its own breaker panel, and i do believe i will have enough space in it for another breaker, although i may have to move things around a bit.
if i am not able to do that, can i use the dryer plug in the house, with a properly rated extension cord? i'd guess the distance from the house to the garage is probably ~ 30ft or so, maybe a little more.
thanks in advance for your help and advice!

Welcome. The plug you should be using is the NEMA 6-50. If you'll download your manual, this will be in there. The cord size should conform to your local codes of course, but usually a 6 gauge is the best. 8 should work.

thanks mark. there isnt much model specific info in the manual, i assume the "power master" line became the power pro line?
i have a 30amp breaker and receptacle currently installed in the garage (looks like an old 220V a/c plug), i assume i will need to upgrade the breaker to a 40 or 50 amp with appropriate wiring as well?
thanks again for your help, cant wait to get started!

    presure,
There are full details given about power on the details pages that deal specifically with the model of interest with a full comparison of all the units in the range. Also the PowerPro manuals were up. It appears as some clumsy goof in the web management department, screwed things up again. I have sent a memo.
