    Default Forum database fixed.

Looks like we are back to normal. We will fix the colors (again) over the next couple days when time permits.

Thanks for being patient with us.

Well, at least threads can be opened. Trouble is, the wrong threads open when the thread is clicked on.

This is a test of the posting process. Hopefully things will clear up. This is an enjoyable and informative site.

Everyone that still sees a problem, please EMAIL it to support@everlastwelders.com. Oleg wants me to relay any bug on the code to our web group. Mark, Ray, Duncan and I just manage here. We did not install the new software. Sorry for the downtime.

So send links and we will attempt to fix it. The forum is very complicated and powerful.

Smileys still seem to be broken in the "advanced" posting area to the right, for text. Others for title posting still seem to be there.

And I notice my title says ######/support. Maybe that's what some people call me. lol I can't seem to fix my own name.

Not quite. I click on "my posts" in the User CP area and post from others are there along with mine. Not sure if this is a univeral problem.

Keep working. Seems like a fix is being snuck up on. Then the green can be dealt with.

Seems the databases were wacked in the 3.x to 4.x upgrade. Oleg and I talked and seems like we fixed the forums this morning far as posting and bad links. Now is looks like the users history/profile is missed up to.

The web team told Oleg it was all good, but it was not. But I have found as I delete bad data from areas it does correct thing.

Mark, I can delete and re-add you. That is how we fixed the threads this morning. Kill the bad records and re-index. It did seem to fix the forum.

GWD. Can you PLEASE mail support@everlastwelders.com what you are seeing, a link maybe, details, rather than a post, I think we have the forum fixed but we need to see what else is broken.. I asked for emails so I could fix things that we can. I did not check the forums all day, but had no emails all day and thought it was all fixed.

    Hey Gary,

It was not easy, I spend hours, found the fix by mistake while on the phone with Oleg yesterday AM. Had us all scratching our heads.

I need to email the web guys, don't touch it so they do not restore the backups.

Test out what you can. Email or PM any issues. Thanks
