one way to make a welder cart

here's a little cart I made quick to hold my ex. Just used stuff I had around. needed to find a home for the file cabinet and this works good. drawers hold all the junk. miller watermate is in the big compartment. I took the big hinge door off. should get plenty of air in there. I did infact make the cart with the welder sitting on it. This thing won't get rolled far, I'd have liked bigger wheels but that's what I had at the moment. I mainly use this for aluminum repair there in the motorcycle shop but sometimes I unplug it and it goes with me for a portable stick machine. I keep migs and an old stick in my farm shop that I used if i am doing big fab stuff on the side.

I reckon that’s a great welding cart.

I’ve been trying to figure how to put a drawer or two in my welding cart. I never thought of using a filing cabinet in the first place like you have. That’s brilliant.

Very creative. Throw a coat of paint on her and call her done. My cart is about as ugly as they come, but is perfect for me. Same with my little welding table.

Neat, effective and saves a useful piece from the dump or scrapyard.I try to do the same whenever possible because a dollar I dont spend there can be put to good use elsewhere. Nice job!
