Default New Member from Maine thinking of getting a 256p

Hi everyone I am a structural steel welder thinking of getting my hands kleen with some tig welding I was thinking a 256p would fit the bill. I told my wife if I got one it could replace my Hypertherm PowerMax 1000 and my Miller CST 250. And she told me "Well you better sell them first" She's getting to know me to well LOL I will be poking around the forum trying to learn more about these machines.

    Welcome Stick.
Typically I recommend the 256 for guys with portable welding operations, since one unit portability is key...But for production and fabrication individual units are better. There are a number of possibilities that we could work out. The PowerArc 200 is similar on single phase output to the CST 280's. But if you want something with AC, then we have a full line including the small PowerTig 185 Micro, that could possibly satisfy your needs.
