Default Running a 200DX from a portable generator

I wanted a portable welder generator, but they are well out of my price range, and the ones I could afford were junk or way to heavy. I needed a TIG welder, and decided on a 200DX to run off a generator. Has anyone tried this yet, and do you have a particular generator to recommend.

    Sean,

I thought I needed to do the same thing, but the job fell through. I called Everlast sales and they told me the correct size - and if you get an everlast generator it'll be the same color as your welder!
