Thread: Handy Hoist

    Default Handy Hoist

To be honest, I made this a few years back, before I got my Everlast PP256. To do the little welding that was needed, I used my Lincoln tombstone AC225. The hoist itself is from Harbor Freight and rated 650lbs single line/ 1300lbs two part line. The trolley travel is 8.5' and the hoist extends around 4' out the door. It comes in very handy to get items upstairs in my barn. I also have a second control switch for the hoist on the ground level.

that's very slick Tony. Do you recall the approximate total cost?

The hoist itself I got on sale at HF for , I think, $150. The beam and square steel tube I got from a salvage yard for around $45. The rest I had or scrounged from work (before retiring).

    Unhappy Don't delete attachment list!!

Sorry, screwed-up. Thought I was doing someone(?) a favor by saving space and I deleted the list of my posted attachments, in my "settings". Didn't know this would make the pics in previous posts disappear. Probably not a good thing to do. I've got to learn to leave some things alone.
