MIG welding machines continuously feed a spool of welding wire that melts fusing both pieces of metal together. MIG is also very versatile in that you can weld a variety of metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium, copper and other alloys. Thickness can vary from thin sheet metal to medium thick plates.
