Multi Process: MIG/TIG/Stick
Everlast, a pioneer in MIG/TIG/ and Stick multi-process welders
Believe it or not, a few years ago, Everlast was one of the first companies to develop a compact inverter based MIG/TIG/Stick welder and release it to the North American market. Beginning in 2009, Everlast introduced its first truly compact DC multi-process welders, the PowerMTS series, offering versions in both a 160 and 200 Amp machine. Slowly, our competition followed. Some are just now entering the market. But Everlast is now out with it’s 4th generation MIG/TIG/Stick welding product. As a true multi-process welder, the new PowerMTS Si features full synergic digital control, memory, and even a pulse function in the PowerMTS 251Si. But that’s not where it ends. The PowerMTS Si series launched in 2016 offers high Frequency start for the TIG process.
The PowerMTS Si series stands alone in innovation
As far as power, design, ease of use, and features go, the PowerMTS units lead the competition by far. We concentrate our efforts on providing more than than you get with the competition. While the competition plays price games by offering ever changing deals, Everlast has focused on putting together everything you need into the welding package and keeping the price low. We don’t strip out the accessories just to show a price that renders the unit basically a standard MIG machine. Rather we include the TIG torch, foot pedal, regulator, stick torch, work clamp and mig torch in the box. There’s no complicated add on features to buy and install to make the unit work with TIG. And the units include built in gas solenoids, eliminating the need for a gas valve torch.
The PowerMTS 251Si is the first MTS type welder with MIG and TIG pulse capability
We’ve equipped the PowerMTS 251Si with nearly every feature that was technologically possible, including Pulse for MIG and TIG operation. Pulse greatly expands the capability of the unit while MIG welding aluminum with the optional spool gun and TIG welding heat sensitive metals such as titanium, chrome-moly, and stainless. It also can accommodate up to a 12” roll, which means it is full size and offers more capacity for serious production work.
